Meloria Small Ball Candle
These candles are distinguished by their extremely shiny finish, achieved by hand by artisans who are able to create a contemporary avant-garde product through the application of long-standing techniques.
Each candle is first dyed by immersing it in a special opaque wax bath. After at least 24 hours, the candle is immersed a second time in a natural cellulose-based varnish which is allowed to completely dry for up to six days, contrary to industrial candles that instead permit packaging of the sphere after merely twenty minutes.
Graziani never employs the use of ovens to accelerate this process; rather, they believe that a slow and natural drying system guarantees an excellent end result.
